About Us
RockHaven Capital acquires established, cash-flowing businesses — primarily right here in Arizona. We target companies with strong EBITDA, apply modern growth systems, and exit them at higher multiples to generate significant backend gains.
But what sets RockHaven apart is the structure: our portfolio produces real cash flow along the way — not just paper returns.
In addition to business acquisitions, we reserve a minority portion of the fund for cherry-picked venture deals. These are hand-selected startups with clear acquisition interest and short exit horizons — adding a strategic kicker for LPs looking for more upside without the long timelines and risk of traditional VC.

We acquire Arizona-based service companies doing $1M+ in EBITDA, apply operational systems, and exit at higher multiples. We build value by improving what already works.
LP Cash Flow Distributions
We prioritize stabilized acquisitions that produce real cash flow, providing our LPs with quarterly distributions while still capturing backend equity upside on exit.
Short-Hold Venture Investing
We reserve 15% of the fund for cherry-picked startups already attracting acquisition interest. These fast-flip deals act as a high-upside kicker for LPs.

Managing Partner
Adam leads portfolio management and is a visionary entrepreneur and growth executive with 15+ years of experience building, buying, selling, and investing in businesses across the SaaS, Tech Recruiting, Real Estate, Supplements, BPO, Visa Consulting, and Commercial Lending industries. He has led teams of 100+, has raised capital for companies and R.E. syndications, and has executed north of $300M in deals. Adam brings a deep investor perspective and plays a key role in shaping RockHaven's strategic direction with capital raising, startup evaluations, leadership, and growth opportunities.
Will VanAlstine
Investment Associate
Will drives investment sourcing and diligence at RockHaven, leveraging founder empathy and analytical rigor. With experience across Midwest VC funds and firsthand success in acquiring, and scaling a vintage toy shop, he brings both investor and operator perspectives. At RockHaven, he plays a key role in market research, portfolio support, and de-risking early-stage investments through thoughtful diligence and founder-first execution. Will holds a Finance degree from the University of Missouri, where he led the student-run venture fund and competed in track.
Kody Doherty
Chief Technology Officer
Kody is a seasoned engineering leader with 17+ years of experience building and scaling software systems at Amazon, Apple, and Bloomberg. He has led high-performing teams across AI, cloud, and enterprise platforms, and previously served as CTO for a SaaS company supporting 40+ federal contractors. Kody brings deep technical insight to RockHaven’s acquisition and venture strategy, playing a key role in platform development, technical diligence, and modernization across the portfolio.
