Services / Trades, home, and commercial services
Every trade runs its own way.
RockHaven Capital buys trades, home, and commercial service businesses directly from owners. A roofing company and an HVAC company do not prove cash flow the same way, so each trade gets its own page and its own questions.
Who We Buy From
Pick your trade
These businesses share trucks, crews, and call volume. They do not share much else, and lumping them together would misprice every one of them.
Start on the page written for your trade. The checks there match how your kind of business actually proves its cash flow.
Roofing companies
Repair bases, replacement cycles, and the state license question for roofers.
Read the page →HVAC companies

Read the page →Plumbing companies

Read the page →Landscaping companies

These trades do not have a dedicated page. The general page covers them, and the same numbers apply.

What's My Business Worth? Book a CallWhat We Look At
Five things we check first
We ask the same five questions at the start of every conversation. Clear answers early keep the rest of the process short.
-
Revenue of $1M to $10M a year
That is the range we buy in. We hold to it on every deal.
-
Cash flow of $300K and up
The cash flow has to show up in the tax returns. We ask for the returns early so neither side wastes time.
-
Recurring or repeat revenue
Signed contracts and set service routes are the strongest form of it. Memberships and standing weekly or monthly schedules count too.
-
A crew that runs the day to day
A lead tech or foreman runs the jobs day to day without the owner on site. If you have trained someone to run the crew in your place, the handover is much simpler.
-
The license question, handled in the open
Most trades run under a company license held by a qualifier of record. When the qualifier stays under a written agreement, the license carries through the sale and the deal stays workable.

A track record built in operating businesses
All three exits came from companies they co-founded from the idea up with a founding team, not from businesses they bought and flipped. One was acquired by a publicly traded company.

Why Owners Talk To Us
A direct buyer changes the conversation
Most owners who call us have already heard the broker pitch. The differences below are why they call.
-
We are the buyer, not a broker
You negotiate with the buyer at the table, not a broker. Your company is never listed or marketed to strangers.
One conversation with the buyer, not a parade of strangers through your business. -
Everything stays confidential
Your crew and your customers hear nothing from us while we talk.
Your staff, customers, and competitors never find out from a listing. -
In most cases, your team stays in place
A good business sells because of the people running it. That is how we structure our deals.
In most cases, the people who helped you build it keep their jobs. -
One decision maker
The people on the call can say yes. There is no committee waiting behind them.
You get your answer from the people on the call.

How It Works
Four steps from first call to close
Four steps, and you deal with us directly at each one.
A private conversation
We talk through your business and your reasons for selling.
A straight valuation

A straight number early, with the reason behind it.A structure that fits
Cash is paid at close, and seller financing is used where it fits.
A clean close
The paperwork is short and written in plain language. Once terms are agreed, we aim to close in four to eight weeks.
A real close date in weeks, not a listing that sits while the market decides.Working with an advisor or broker? They hear back from us within two business days, and their fee is protected.
